Children are introduced to the world in which they live, the phenomena and events, through a variety of practical experiences. This is very much a hands-on subject in that children satisfy their curiosity with knowledge by doing rather than by being told by the teacher. Children are encouraged to question and discuss science-based issues to develop their understanding.
Sex education forms part of our programme of study in the upper school. All parents will be asked to give permission for their child to participate in this area of work and have the right to withdraw their child if they wish.
