Geography

At Harwood Meadows we follow the National Curriculum for Primary Geography.  Within this the children begin by exploring their local area before being introduced to Great Britain and then the world at large. This encompasses both human and physical Geography and the children are encouraged to compare and contrast the areas they are focusing on.  The children develop their mapping skills, explore life in other parts of the UK before finding out about other countries in the developed and developing world.
