    Our school choir was invited to sing some of the incidental music for new play 'The King's Orphan' by Martin Roche (playwright).  You can listen to the promo for the play via this link.

     

    Year 5 children have also been working with Martin on their writing project about WWI.

    The Eco Team have been very busy today!  Planting primroses in the boxes outside the KS2 classrooms.  Haven't they done a super job?!
  • Assembly - Ottley the Recycling Elephant!

    Ottley the Recycling Elephant came to our assembly this morning! 

     

    Bolton Council and their mascot Ottley came to talk to the children about recycling.  They discussed which bin should be used for certain types of rubbish and the children got to ask questions.  The Eco Team enjoyed having their picture taken with Ottley after the assembly.

  • Foundation Stage Welly Walk

    The Foundation Stage staff have organised for Cool Canvas, who have been re-shaping the willow dome at the front of school, to create a living willow structure in the foundation stage outdoor area.  In order to fund the project, the children have taken part in a sponsored welly walk.  They walked around our school field - twice!  Well done foundation stage!! no
