Robinwood 10th - 12th July 2019 - Year 5
We arrived early and were met by our course leaders, Ben and Rachel. Once the suitcases were unloaded, we set off walking along the river and up the hill to the castle. The children were taken to their rooms where they made their beds. After lunch we started the activities off with rock climbing followed by piranha pool and night line (taking on an obstacle course whilst wearing blacked out goggles). After tea, we tackled the trapeze and ended the day with team challenge and hot chocolate, yum!
After a good breakfast, we started the day off with quest, giant swing (some really funny faces being pulled in the pictures below!), zip wire (my personal favourite!), canoeing, raft building and dungeon. After tea, another team challenge awaited with lots of mini challenges and conspiracy against us 'grown ups!' We finished the night off again with hot chocolate and lots of tired faces.
After breakfast, the children stripped their beds and packed their suitcases. Once we were all packed, we headed off to caving, archery and crate challenge. After lunch, we made our way back down the hill to the coach where we waved goodbye to Robinwood.
Thank you to Year 5, we had an amazing time and a massive thanks to Ben and Rachel for making our time at Robinwood extra special!
